Bhagwat Katha is the recitation and explanation of the Shrimad Bhagwat Purana, which narrates the leelas of Lord Krishna and the teachings of devotion. It is often held as a Saptah over seven days. Families host it for spiritual growth, in memory of ancestors, or to bless a new beginning.
